International

All project partners work jointly to promote the Eco-Village Development (EVD) concept and reduce poverty through advocacy – including on an international scale

Since 2015 the national partners have worked actively to implement, develop and promote pro-poor sustainable and low-cost solutions to improve the livelihood people living in rural areas in Nepal, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. These activities form an evidence-base on which all the project partners advocate village development and influence policy makers and climate negotiators at international climate change conferences – among others by participating in and organizing side events, dialogues etc.
