Since 2015 the national partners have worked actively to implement, develop and promote pro-poor sustainable and low-cost solutions to improve the livelihood people living in rural areas in Nepal, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. These activities form an evidence-base on which all the project partners advocate village development and influence policy makers and climate negotiators at international climate change conferences – among others by participating in and organizing side events, dialogues etc. ATTENDENCE AT UN CLIMATE CHANGE CONFERENCES OR RELATED EVENTS
International
On an international level, all project partners work jointly to promote the Eco-Village Development (EVD) concept and reduce poverty via evidence-based advocacy.
